G'day, I'm Taylor

I've been giving unsolicited financial advice to friends and family for years — so I decided to make it official.

Plain-language money talk for everyday Australians. No jargon, no judgment, no suits. Just honest information to help you get ahead — from someone who's on the same journey.

The honest version of my story

For as long as I can remember, I've been the person friends and family turn to when they have money questions. Not because I had any formal qualifications — but because I genuinely love this stuff, and I can explain it in a way that actually makes sense.

So I decided to stop doing it for free at the dinner table and make it my career. I'm currently preparing to start my formal financial advice qualification, with plans to complete my professional year with a licensed firm shortly after.

This site is where I document the journey, share what I'm learning, and build a home for the kind of plain, honest money content that I wish had existed when I was starting out.
